Our History

We are Tanja and George, the founders of Easy Divers Rhodes, and our story is one of love—for the ocean, nature, humanity, and adventure. We first met in an underwater world, and from that moment, we were determined to share our passion with others. Our work is both a joy and a challenge in a world increasingly impacted by climate change, rising sea levels, and water pollution. Combining academic knowledge in environmental protection with over 25 years of experience in scuba diving business, we strive to make a difference.

Beyond teaching scuba diving as a recreational activity, we are committed to educating our students about coexisting with the ocean and becoming mindful, eco-conscious divers. After 22 wonderful years of running George’s first scuba diving centre on Lesvos Island—Lesvos Scuba Oceanic Centre—we decided to take the next big step together. In 2025, we transfer it to Rhodes Island, giving it a new name: Easy Divers Rhodes.

Since 2019, we have been running one more scuba diving center in Kos Island - Sea World Scuba Diving Center Kos.  On both centres, we have been thrilled to receive 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor, reflecting the professionalism of our team and our dedication to delivering the best possible service. We feel truly blessed that so many people recognise and appreciate our efforts.

We believe that every visitor to our beautiful country, Greece, deserves a truly special experience. That’s why we embody the true essence of Greek Filoxenia — the art of warm hospitality — welcoming you with open arms

For us, you’re not just another tourist, but a valued guest. We’ve dedicated three decades to building this mindset, constantly improving based on your feedback to ensure the highest standards of service. We listen, we adapt, and we never stop evolving to give you the best experience possible. We strive to create an environment that is warm, friendly, and human, the same kind of experience we would want on our own vacations.

Let us help make your dreams come true!.

INCREDIBLE PLACE TO DIVE

We are proud to be located right next to the stunning CharakiAgathiLindos StPaul area. Our base is perfectly positioned only 30 meters from the sea, surrounded by beautiful nearby reefs. The crystal-clear waters offer visibility of over 25 meters, with temperatures ranging from 20 to 28 degrees Celsius from April to November, making it an ideal diving destination.

EQUIPMENT

Our center is equipped with modern ScubaPro gear, all annually and very well serviced. Our boat is an 8-meter plastic boat with Volvo diesel engine. Both the boat and equipment are regularly serviced and kept in excellent condition to meet all international safety standards. At our scuba diving center, we use top-of-the-line L&W compressors to ensure the highest safety and quality standards for your underwater adventures.

Meet the team

George Filios

George knew from an early age that his life would be closely involved with the sea. Despite facing social pressure to study Agriculture, he followed his instincts and obtained his instructor certification in 1995. He has been working near the water ever since.

He has worked in many places in Greece (Corfu, Kefalonia, Athens) and abroad (South Africa, Holland). He worked as a diving instructor at the Dive School of Kalymnos for professional divers. Dimitris Tzimas

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor

Dimitris, the newest addition to our team, joined us straight out of the Athenian center. Being raised in Ioannina, deep in the heart of the Greek mountains, he discovered his passion for the sea when he moved to Chania in Crete, to study Electronic and Computer Engineering. And the enthusiasm for the marine environment, remained ever since. Scuba diving entered his life a bit later, while working as a Computer Engineer in Athens. And the underwater realm became his new life. In June 2024, he got his first Open Water certificate and soon after that he became a PADI Divemaster. Having worked as an assistant in guided dives and various courses in the Athenian riviera up until May 2025, he became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. In addition, he is a PADI Freediver and Mermaid Instructor as well as a PADI Specialty Instructor. Despite being a relatively fresh Instructor, he is thrilled start his first season here in order to educate new divers, maintaining only the highest of security standards and guiding various underwater trips with responsibility and leaving only bubbles behind.

Victor Reyes

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor

From a very young age, water marked Víctor's life where water polo and his father, a certified diver, were always present. An explorer of the Catalan coast, he decided to leave the coast to study mountain guiding. Once he obtained the title, after COVID, he decided to do everything possible to get his instructor certification in 2023. He finally achieved it and then traveled to explore the sea; the first trip was to Thailand, where he spent a whole year in Koh Lanta. Víctor is now in Rhodes, immersing himself in new underwater adventures.
